Customers in newport are threatening to boycott the londis store, on bassaleg rd, after it raised the price to £3 for a loaf of bread during the severe weather .

The incident stems from an Online Post, showing a receipt that appears to show a customer, paid £6 for two loaves of Hovis bread from the Londis store.

Many people have left negative reviews on the Facebook page of the store, before the owners unpublished the page.

The shop claimed it had to cover additional costs after paying extra to suppliers, Although other posters showed an image of a male in asda buying huge amounts of bread, claiming it was the manager of the store.
